The XR-MRT Humanoid robot by XiaoR GEEK looks, at first glance, to be similar to many other humanoid robots only a bit more compact. But don’t let the small-Ish size fool you, this is a very versatile robot at a very nice price point.
POWER AND MOVES
More servos mean more action and the XR-MRT boasts a total of 18 degrees of freedom: one each in the head and chest; three in each arm and five in each leg. Their servos are exceptional in that they use a 4:1 full metal gear reduction. Clearly the emphasis is on ruggedness action, balance, movement and acrobatic maneuvers. And XR-MRT takes advantage of this in a unique way.
WELL CONNECTED FOR ACTION
Common actions for similar robots can be broken down into combat/fight, dance, and football/run. The XR- MRT can start out in any one of the three modes and operate autonomously. This robot is also programmable using an android phone or a PC through a graphical user interface to extend its actions to handstands, somersaults and other difficult moves
CLEVER STYLING
This bot not only has the moves it has some clever styling as well. Snap-in “armor” plates in Red, White, or Blue can be mixed and matched, or even 3D printed for a very custom look. But that’s not all, the servos are fitted with 256 full color adjustable LED lights that add a special touch of style especially for low light venues.
